In this piece I wanted to capture the Siberian Husky's piercing blue eyes, distinctive facial markings and friendly expression. 
 
This piece of wall art is made from blended wool felt, handstitched and embroidered onto linen, and framed in a wooden hoop. The head is lightly stuffed to give the piece three-dimensionality.
 
The hoop is 18.5cm in diameter with a loop of cotton string for hanging. This piece should be placed out of direct sunlight to prevent fading of colours.
