There is something about the grumpy expression of a Pug that makes me smile, so I had to try to capture that in this piece. 
 
This piece of wall art is made from blended wool felt, handstitched and embroidered onto linen, and framed in a wooden hoop. The head is lightly stuffed to give the piece three-dimensionality.
 
The hoop is 18.5cm in diameter with a loop of cotton string for hanging. This piece should be placed out of direct sunlight to prevent fading of colours.
