I'm Jenny, the sole designer and maker at Créations de Couture. My roots are in Ireland, but currently Switzerland is home.
I started making decorations simply because I love to make things by hand. With hand-stitching you have to slow down and concentrate fully. At the end of each piece there is great satisfaction in knowing that you've created every part of it yourself.
All my decorations are made to my own original designs. I really enjoy the design process. It takes time but when I see the designs that I have worked on come to life in little felt forms it's worth all the effort.
My first collection was Christmas decorations and over time I've added to it, amending and improving designs. I then moved into making garlands, inspired by my favourite animals and also by the beautiful Swiss landscape above that welcomes me every morning.
